Ingredients
- 2.5 cups flour
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 cup luke warm water (about 2.5 dl)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 package of active dry yeast (about 2.5 tsp)
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Instructions
- In large bowl, mix flour and salt.
- In medium bowl, mix warm water with olive oil and add yeast and sugar. Let sit 5 mins.
- Then add wet ingredients to dry and mix.
- When dough has pulled together, knead in bowl or on a flat lightly floured surface for 5-10 minutes.
- Place dough back in bowl and cover with warm damp cloth. Let rise for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Roll dough out into several long strips about 1/2 inch thick by 12 inches long.
- Wrap dough around sticks and cook over an open fire.
