Key Lime Pie

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups crushed graham crackers (about 12 graham cracker sheets)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 6 Tbsp (100g) melted butter

  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 egg yolks (not the egg whites)
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice

  • 1.5 cups whipping cream (or about 2 or 2.5 cups whipped cream)

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed graham crackers, sugar and butter in a large bowl with a fork. Then spread into glass pie pan to make the crust. Bake at 350F for 5-8 mins.
  2. While crust is baking, in a medium bowl mix milk, egg yokes and key lime juice.
  3. Pour into baked pie crust. Bake at 350F for 15 mins.
  4. After taking pie out of oven, let stand for 15 mins to cool.
  5. Whip up 1.5 cups cream into whipped cream. Spread whipped cream over the top of the pie and place in refrigerator for 30 mins.
