Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup medium grind cornmeal
  • 1 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix cornmeal and milk and let sit for 10 mins.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flower, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
  3. After letting large bowl sit for 10 mins, add dry ingredients from medium bowl into large bowl.
  4. In small bowl, mix eggs and melted butter and then add into large bowl.
  5. Pour into pie pan and bake at 375F for 28-30 mins.
