Apple Tarte

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • about 5-8 apples sliced

  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 8 oz or one small package of heavy (whipping) cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Place room temperature pie dough (let sit out of refrigerator for 5 mins) in pie pan. Preheat oven to 375F or 180C.
  2. Add sliced apples to pie pan.
  3. In medium bowl, lightly beat eggs and then mix in cream, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla.
  4. Pour medium bowl contents over apples in pie pan. Bake for 1 hour. Let cool about 20 minutes before serving.
